Consultation

VHI makes the home inventory process easy. We begin with a consultation to understand your estate’s distinct needs and define the scope of work. Your estate’s inventory will be built by an industry professional with expertise in documenting quickly and efficiently, with minimal time commitment from you.

Onsite

Our process starts with a careful walk-through to gather specific details and confirm the scope of work. We then move methodically through the entire property visually recording assets room by room. The entire estate is scanned in 3D—capturing furnishings, finishes, fixtures, and build quality of your spaces. Valued assets, notable items, and model and serial numbers are all photographed individually.

Processing

Offsite, we meticulously edit and process all the collected data, then organize the documentation into your individualized VHI. The data and supporting information, such as photos, receipts, and appraisals, are embedded into the digital copy and scheduled in spreadsheets, creating a fully indexed, easy-to-navigate record of your estate.

Delivery

You’ll receive your fully encrypted, cloud-secure VHI about four weeks after onsite work is completed. We can accommodate any concerns about maintaining your information in the cloud.
